Represent the State of Georgia

 Stars And Stripes

Dear Coaches and Parents,

Have your players sign-up today for an opportunity to represent Georgia in the Winter World Championships in Orlando Florida!
I have attached a flyer with information regarding Stars and Stripes Baseball.  Stars and Stripes Baseball will be holding tryouts throughout the state of Georgia now through November 5th to select players to represent Georgia in the Winter World Championships in Orlando, Florida (12/27/11 to 1/2/12).  This unique tournament event has over twenty-five states participating. Each state will be bringing at least two teams in each age group 9U through 18U to compete in this tournament. Each team will be coached by MLB scouts, college and top high school coaches, and former professional and collegiate players.  We have secured Tim Hyers ( Boston Red Sox Scout) and Shane Monahan ( San Diego Padres Scout) to coach our 17/18 year old teams.  No dads will be involved in coaching a team.  Each team will be limited to 14 players which includes 12 position players and 2 pitcher only players.  We will bat continuous line-ups and no player will sit more than 1 consecutive inning.

Players who get selected to one of our teams will have the opportunity to play in front of some the best baseball people from across the country.

Our tryout evaluations are being completed by MLB scouts. Each player will receive a written evaluation and be ranked nationally with players in their own age group. Our tryout schedule can be found on the attached form.

Please vist our website at for more detailed information.

Thank you for your time!
