Brookstone refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Macon Co.*, recording an 18-1 victory on Wednesday. Ten runs in the first three innings allowed Brookstone to put the game away early.A groundout by Austin Pair and in the first inning and , , a two-run double by Pair, an RBI single by Cannon Jarrell, and in the second inning fueled Brookstone's offense early. Tim Kennedy went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for Brookstone. Kennedy singled in the second and third innings. Max Williams was in control on the mound. Macon Co.* managed just one hit off of Williams, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out 10 during his four innings of work. Brookstone piled up the steals, swiping seven bags in all. Drew Lingo, Duncan Fletcher, and Williams each had one stolen base and Kennedy and Matt Jones each had two stolen bases.
