Big 5th Inning Beats Pacelli 7-1

A four-run explosion in the fifth inning lifted Brookstone to a 7-1 win in seven innings over St. Anne-Pacelli * on Friday.

Austin Pair had a good game at the plate for Brookstone. Pair went 3-4 and drove in one. Pair singled in the third, fourth, and fifth innings.
Jordan Waddell worked out of three tough spots for Brookstone. He pitched five innings and allowed one earned run on four hits. Waddell faced his most difficult moment in the fifth inning.
St. Anne-Pacelli * was led by a flawless day at the dish by King, who went 2-2 against Brookstone's pitching. King singled in the second and sixth innings.
Drew Lingo threw one inning of scoreless ball for Brookstone.
Brookstone never trailed after scoring three runs in the third on a two-run double by Tim Kennedy and a fielder's choice.
St. Anne-Pacelli * scored its only run of the game on a steal of home by #20 in the fourth inning.
