Brookstone falls 16-0 to Hardaway despite Sam Lowe's effort

Brookstone wound up on the wrong side of a 16-0 score on Tuesday, tasting defeat at the hands of Hardaway.

Marcell Byrd got the win for Hardaway. He tossed four innings of shutout ball. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered one hit.
Hardaway easily handled Brookstone pitching as six hitters combined for seven hits, seven RBIs and 11 runs scored.
Preston Campbell was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in one inning, walked three and struck out none.
Hardaway didn't relinquish the lead after scoring seven runs in the first inning when it scored on a two-run error, a fielder's choice, and three singles.
Hardaway tacked on another four runs in the second. The inning looked promising, as Marcus Small singled, plating Blake Rupp to kick things off.
