Brookstone makes the most of 4 hits in 2-1 victory over Paideia

Brookstone and Paideia each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but Brookstone capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 2-1 win. 

Paideia had five hits compared with Brookstone 's four, but Paideia stranded nine runners on base. 
Culver Norred pitched lights out for Brookstone . Norred held Paideia hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none. 
Jarrod Little got the win for Brookstone . He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered five hits. 
D Goodwin was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run. 
Brookstone jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the third. Hunter Green singled to ignite Brookstone 's offense. A single by Drew Webb then moved Green from first to third. 
In the fourth inning, Paideia pushed across its only run of the day on a fielder's choice. 
Brookstone went up for good in the fifth, scoring one run on a sacrifice fly by Little.
