Brookstone hang on against Hawkinsville, 4-2

Hawkinsville wasn't able to come back from the big hole it dug itself into against Brookstone , and Hawkinsville lost 4-2 to Brookstone after falling behind by three runs in the second inning. 
Hawkinsville scored on a passed ball in the third inning and a solo home run by Dakota Sloan in the sixth inning. Unfortunately, Hawkinsville wasn't able to take the lead back. 
Preston Campbell had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the second and sixth innings. 
Jarrod Little got the win for Brookstone thanks to 12 strikeouts. Little allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over seven innings. 
Brookstone was sparked by Matt Jones and Campbell, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs. 
Tyler Brown took the loss for Hawkinsville. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs. 
The lead stayed with Brookstone after the second, when it scored three runs on an RBI double by Campbell and a two-run single by Jones.
