  • Brookstone beat Hawkinsville on Friday 15-5 in five innings.
  • Brookstone hit three home runs in the win. Home runs for Brookstone came when Sam Lowe homered in the second inning, Drew Webb homered in the third inning, and James Sherrer homered in the fourth inning.
  • Sam Lowe racked up four RBIs on two hits for Brookstone. He singled in the first inning and homered in the second inning.
  • Culver Norred got the win for Brookstone despite allowing five runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered seven hits.
  • Tyler Hall was charged with the loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
  • Brookstone never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on two singles.

  • Five runs in the top of the third helped Hawkinsville close its deficit to 7-5. An RBI double by Colby Folds, an RBI single by Mart Simmons, a two-run error, and an RBI single by Jacob Coody gave Hawkinsville life. Brookstone stopped the rally after Norred got Jacob Nobles to fly out.
  • Brookstone matched its three-run fourth inning with three more in the fifth. In the fourth, Brookstone scored on a passed ball, bringing home Campbell.
