  • An eight-run explosion in the second inning carried Brookstone to a 12-2 win in five innings over Marion County on Wednesday.
  • Brookstone scored in the second on an RBI single by James Sherrer, an RBI single by Coleman Killorin, an RBI single by Culver Norred, an error, a sacrifice fly by Preston Campbell, an error, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Daniel Amos.
  • Drew Webb put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Brookstone. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.
